Have you ever watched a trailer for a movie and freaked out because you saw something that shouldn’t be there? That’s kind of what’s happening with Stranger Things season 5! A video from the set has people talking about a character who might be coming back from the dead!
Hawkins Lab is Back!
The video shows that the filming crew is back at a creepy place you might remember well: Hawkins Lab. This is the government building where Eleven was experimented on as a kid. It’s not exactly a happy place, but it is a super important part of the story.
Dr. Brenner: Coming Back from the Upside Down?
Since the lab is back, some fans think this means Dr. Brenner, the not-so-nice scientist who ran the place, might also be back. We last saw Dr. Brenner getting attacked by a monster in season 4, and it looked pretty bad for him. But hey, this is Stranger Things, and crazy things happen all the time!
The Duffer Brothers Say No Way!
The creators of the show, Matt and Ross Duffer (they’re brothers!), have already said that Dr. Brenner is really dead. This time, they mean it. They know fans might not have believed him the first time he died, but they say this time it’s for real. So, if Dr. Brenner isn’t coming back, then what’s the deal with the lab?
Maybe it’s not ALL bad news…
There are a few other reasons why the lab might be important in season 5. Maybe the good guys need to go back there for some reason. They might need something from the lab to fight whatever new monster is coming their way. Or, maybe Eleven needs to go back to face her past. Whatever the reason, it looks like Hawkins Lab is going to be a big part of the final season.
Who Else Could Be Back?
Even though Dr. Brenner probably isn’t coming back from the dead, there are other characters who might return in some way. Maybe we’ll see flashbacks to when Eleven was a little girl at the lab. We could even see Eleven talk to her dead friend, Hopper, in some kind of vision. There are lots of possibilities!
One Season Left to Get Answers!
This is the last season of Stranger Things, so all these mysteries are going to get wrapped up. Will Eleven defeat the bad guys for good? What will happen to Hawkins? We’ll just have to wait and see! In the meantime, keep an eye out for more news and clues about season 5. There are bound to be more surprises in store!
