Hollywood, CA – Model Lori Harvey and ‘Snowfall’ actor Damson Idris have split after a little over a year of dating. The two confirmed their breakup in a joint statement shared exclusively with The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday.
“We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication,” the statement read. “We part ways remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together.”
Harvey and Idris reportedly first met in December 2021 and were seen leaving a West Hollywood restaurant together. They were then photographed together on several occasions throughout the following months, including at a New Year’s Eve party in Miami and at a basketball game in Los Angeles.
The couple never publicly addressed their relationship, but they were frequently spotted together and appeared to be very much in love. In a recent interview, Harvey spoke about the importance of finding a partner who is supportive and understanding.
“I think it’s important to be with someone who understands your career and your lifestyle,” she said. “Someone who is supportive of your goals and dreams.”
It is unclear what led to Harvey and Idris’s breakup, but it appears to be an amicable split. The two have not publicly commented on their separation, but they are reportedly still on friendly terms.
Harvey, 25, is the daughter of Steve Harvey, the Emmy Award-winning comedian and talk show host. She has been in the spotlight since she was a teenager and has modeled for some of the biggest brands in the world, including Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors, and Calvin Klein.
Idris, 30, is a British actor who is best known for his role as Franklin Saint on the FX drama ‘Snowfall’. He has also starred in films such as ‘The Predator’ and ‘White Boy Rick’.
